Group Piano Classes

Whether they're new beginners or have taken lessons before, your child will love to learn piano in a multi-sensory, engaging way through group lessons.  Each piano class includes playing, singing, movement, sight-reading, theory, chord-playing, improvising and ensemble playing. 

Why learn piano in groups?  Students are able to encourage and inspire one another.  They learn to listen and play together in rhythm.  They play theory games and do fun musical activities throughout the lesson time.  Groups are great for students who need more movement and active learning.  Our cyclical group curriculum includes differentiation built into each song so students can learn at their own pace while continuing to play together with the group.  I especially recommend group classes for beginners and hobby pianists who are motivated by friends! 

I incorporate the best of many different music education methods to prepare students to be life-long piano players, able to play in a variety of settings, with or without other musicians. 

Every student plays on their own full-sized digital piano in my home-based studio, located in Southeast Lincoln, Nebraska.

Private Piano Lessons

If you're looking for a more traditional piano lesson experience, Private Lessons will fit the bill.  Your student will learn from one of our experienced teachers, with lessons tailored to their goals and learning style.  Within private lessons they will learn to read music, understand theory concepts, play along with teacher accompaniments, play chords, harmonize and improvise, plus have opportunities to play fun music games and other off-the-bench activities.  

Why choose the private lesson option?  If your student thrives in the one-on-one environment, needs special focus or is looking for more advanced piano training, they private option might be best for them.  They can enjoy being part of our studio while learning at exactly their own level!
